Towy Lodge

This lodge has everything you would need for a cosy getaway and from January 2022 will be for 2 adults only. The lodge itself has been handmade in Builth Wells using local wood. The flooring is solid oak and the kitchen cabinets are all handmade using traditional techniques by Rob.

We want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible and will attempt to cater to your every need during your time with us. We have tried to think of and supply everything you will need in your lodge, but if there is something else you feel is missing please let us know and we will do our best to get it for you.

Location

Cilsane Lodges is set within the grounds of Cilsane Mill, an old corn mill used by the Gelli Aur estate. It is set within the rolling Carmarthenshire countryside making a beautiful setting for watching wildlife; the occasional kingfisher, heron and otter can be seen. Lovely walks can be enjoyed and we are only a mile from Aberglasney gardens.

Cilsane Lodges only has two wooden lodges, making it exceptionally quiet and peaceful. Both are set within exclusive grounds and are totally enclosed in a very large area with pond and access to a small wood.

The lodges are just over 5 minutes from Llandeilo town by car but it also possible to walk into Llandeilo through the grounds of Dinefwr. Llandeilo is full of boutique shops and has some lovely restaurants and pubs to enjoy.

Accommodation

Towy lodge has gorgeous views, overlooking countryside, a derelict old workers cottage, the river Towy and Dinefwr Castle in the distance. It has a very peaceful feel with very large windows letting you make the most of the view.

With a hot tub, barbecue and bespoke firepit, the lodge has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break in the Welsh countryside.
